Falls Prevention Awareness Week

Join us in observing Falls Prevention Awareness Week!

Falls Prevention Awareness Week(FPAW) is a nationwide observance that takes place every September during the first week of fall. State coalitions, grantees, and other organizations in the aging network coordinate to raise awareness about preventing falls, reducing the risk of falls, and helping older adults live without fear of falling.

The 2023 Falls Prevention Awareness Week Impact Reportshows the results of these efforts by organizations across the country. It also includes specific activities and partnerships that have been offered in the past and can spur ideas for organizations in the future.
