Throughout the pandemic the aging and disability networks have been at the forefront of efforts to protect the health of older adults and people with disabilities. While continuing to provide the services that make it possible for many to live safely in the community, our networks also have played a critical role in helping people get vaccinated. ACL is seeking content experts and individuals with expertise in older adult food insecurity and/or malnutrition to join a technical expert panel (TEP) to help make recommendations to improve the National Survey of Older Americans Act Participants (NSOAAP). Panel members will be individuals from State Units on Aging (SUAs), Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs), other federal agencies, the aging network, special interest advocacy organizations, academia or research organizations, and policymakers. The TEP will work to ensure the inclusion of appropriate questions while balancing survey length.
