ACL Awards Cooperative Agreements to Support Innovations in Nutrition Programs and Services (INNU) ACL recently awarded four community research cooperative agreements to verify the effectiveness of innovative Senior Nutrition Program practices and programs created during COVID-19. The research will positively impact senior nutrition participants by helping to transition and sustain congregate meal programs, and delivering impactful nutrition education.

ACL recently awarded more than $85.4 million in American Rescue Plan funding for 55 state and territorial Adult Protective Services (APS) programs. APS programs will use the funding to provide emergency housing and other wrap-around services to empower clients to recover from maltreatment. The funding will also help programs in address other critical areas including information technology, training, partnerships, staffing, reporting, outreach, and personal protective equipment.
