ACL has opened two new funding opportunities under the Lifespan Respite Care Program. Lifespan Respite Care Programs are coordinated systems of accessible, community-based respite care services that reduce duplication of effort and help to develop respite care infrastructures at the state and local levels.

ACL has released two Innovations in Nutrition (INNU) Funding Opportunities Announcements (FOAs) to establish cooperative agreements to conduct research projects that enhance the quality, effectiveness, and outcomes of nutrition programs and services within the aging services network. 

ACL has released a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) to establish a cooperative agreement to operate a National Resource Center on Nutrition and Aging (NRCNA). The NRCNA will provide training, technical assistance, and support to ACL discretionary grantee recipients and Senior Nutrition Program Title III-C network organizations in every state, territory, and the District of Columbia.

Through this funding opportunity, the Administration for Community Living plans to award approximately 10 cooperative agreements to domestic public or private non-profit entities.

CDC and ACL will provide nearly $100 million in grants to help older adults and people with disabilities get vaccines

The Administration for Community Living (ACL) announces Phase 1 winners of the Social Care Referrals Challenge competition. Launched in March of 2020, the challenge will award prizes for developing and optimizing interoperable and scalable technology solutions that foster connections between community-based organizations and health care systems in support of holistic health and social care for older adults and people with disabilities.

In November 2019, the Administration for Community Living invited American businesses and other entities to compete for $380,000 in cash prizes to help expand their recruiting and retention programs to better include workers with disabilities (particularly people with intellectual and developmental disabilities).
